About Teal

As an industry veteran, Teal has been a practicing makeup artist & hair stylist for more than 18 years. Following in the footsteps of her mother, Pamela Hackeman (skincare and makeup artist educator) and uncle, Doug Cress (Former TV and Film makeup & effects artist), Teal's enthusiasm and creativity have turned her craft into a globetrotting makeup career. Furthermore, She has been looked to as an authority on makeup trends and has been a contributing writer/editor for several beauty magazines. She is also co-owner (with her mother) of Behind the Seen Organics (BTS Organics) ~ Organic Face & Body Care and the all organic handcrafted skin care by the same name. From film, fashion magazines to music videos and commercials, she shares her artistry with a wide range of clients on a variety of projects. A San Francisco native, Teal now resides in Los Angeles, but frequently travels for work.
